| 2009 SYLVANER $14 (Wine Club: $12.60) 1.8% RS (16% Riesling) Sylvaner is a wine that is unique to Rancho Sisquoc, as we are the only producers of this varietal in California. The nose has hints of light lime, apricot, sweet pear and roasted peanuts which also follow through in the fantastic flavor. This crisp favorite finishes clean with a hint of lingering sweetness. |
| 2008 CHARDONNAY $20 (Wine Club: $18) Soft and rich, this Chardonnay opens with a thick nose of vanilla, coconut custard and light toasty oak. The oak respectfully allows the fruits to shine through and they are dominated by tropical varieties including passion fruit and pineapple. | 2009 RIESLING $12 (Wine Club: $10.80) This Riesling opens with a blast of nectarine and pear concentrate that is complimented by touches of rose petal & spicy caramel. As this medium sweet wine rolls over the palate, ripe fig and sweet lime dominate the flavor with hints of honeydew melon and peach preserves. With a balance of high acidity and high residual sugar this wine finishes crisp. |
| 2007 MERLOT $20 (Wine Club: $18) (13% Cabernet Sauvignon) This is a dense ruby red wine with some special characteristics. This Merlot is a complex wine that showcases austere fruits such as sweet currant, pomegranate and earthy cherry. There are also flavors of coffee and oak. A well rounded mid palate of cherry-espresso, chocolate and hints of anise lead to a clean and lingering finish. Barrel aged 18 months in French, Hungarian, and American oak. |
| 2007 MALBEC $30 (Wine Club: $27) Our Malbec is known for its intense inky appearance and this vintage is no exception. The bouquet opens with vanilla bean and honey and then gives way to strawberry pie filling, black jam and chocolate. The robust middle shows plum, blackberry, floral notes and is long in the mouth-feel. The finish is of toasty vanilla oak with dried black fruits and full tannins. These flavors compliment the aromas reminiscent of stewed lamb with black cherry mint jelly. The mouth is dominated by black fruits, juicy berries and a very respectful light toasty oak. The finish is bright with hints of vanilla, dry tannin and sweet fruits. Aged 18 months in 100% French oak. |
| 2007 CELLAR SELECT MERITAGE $30 (Wine Club: $27) (29% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc, 16% Pt. Verdot & 13% Malbec) This red brick hued Meritage has a nose of sweet oak and candied black fruits. Full of flavors such as black cherry, brambleberry and distinct blueberry supported by vanilla and toffee. The mouth is succulent and the finish is long and spicy. The 32 months of aging has helped create a wine where oak has seeped into every corner of the profile. |
| 2008 SISQUOC RIVER RED $16 (Wine Club: $14.40) (37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 16% Syrah, 11% Malbec, 9% Sangiovese) The nose is full of juicy red berries, with hints of black fruits and sweet cola. The smoky oak is very respectful of this fruit forward blend. On the palate wonderful flavors of strawberry custard, cran-raspberry and anise lead the way to a mellow and smooth mouth with balanced concentration with the oak supporting a light chalky finish. American and Hungarian oak aged for 14 months. |

This wine opens with vanilla custard, crème brulee and toasty oak supported by red fruits and cola spices. The mouth is full and concentrated with strawberry, black cherry and raspberry fruits leading to sweet caramel and pleasing tannin that bring about a long supple finish. French oak aged for 12 months. |

Showing the full extent of its almost three years in barrel, it has an unmistakable candied red fruit and licorice intensity similar to a good Italian Amarone. Flavors of ripe cherry, raspberry and pomegranate help maintain the typical bold structure and tannin found in our Sangiovese. This wine was oak aged for 32 months and will finish dry. . . |






| 2007 Cabernet Franc (20% Pt. Verdot) WC$19.80 $22.00 This is a limited bottling of our famed Cab Franc with only 207 cases produced. It opens big with sarsaparilla, dusty earth and sweet cola. The flavors are wild red berries, thyme, redwood smoke and rich vanilla oak. The finish is pure dried cherry and nice chalky tannin. The Petite Verdot lends support of minerals from start to finish.
